Essex Wildlife Trust was established in 1959 and is the county’s leading conservation charity. It has more than 34,000 members, manages and protects over 8,200 acres of land on 87 nature reserves, 2 nature parks and runs 11 visitor centres. It is one of the largest of the 47 county wildlife trusts that work together throughout the British Isles and is supported financially by members, local businesses and grant making organisations. We’re extremely proud to be a corporate member of the trust, whose aim is to Protect Wildlife for the Future and for the people of Essex.
ROUNDING UP THE YEAR IN STYLE
We were approached to produce the Annual report for Essex Wildlife Trust, with a brief of working within existing brand guidelines whilst pushing the design from previous years. The board of trustees all agreed that our photography-led approach, featuring some beautiful imagery taken in and around Essex wildlife trust destinations, and bold use of the brands typeface, was a great solution.
The final piece along with other marketing material was mailed out to all the Essex Wildlife Trust members and corporate members across Essex.
ON BRAND ADVERTISING
With 87 reserves and 11 visitor centres, when I am Emily Design & Marketing produced advertising materials for Essex Wildlife Trust, it was really important that we were sensitive to their brand guidelines and the vast archive of advertising that had gone before. We delivered our high standard of direct advertising, all the while conscious of conveying the familiar Essex Wildlife Trust feeling that so much of their marketing materials exhibit.
